A PSA oxygen plant combines everything you need to produce oxygen on-site into a single skid: a screw air compressor, water separation, compressed-air buffer, multi-stage filtration, an adsorption dryer, the PSA oxygen generator itself, an O₂ storage vessel, and pressure and purity regulation. Instead of sourcing thirteen components from different suppliers and engineering the interfaces between them, you receive one pre-assembled system that connects to your power supply and runs.
The OXYBERG® PSA oxygen generator at the heart of the plant comes from Berg GaseTech, Made in Germany. The engineering around it is part of the deal: sizing, skid assembly, piping, controls, commissioning and service. For the remaining components the choice is yours. Compressor, dryer and filters can come entirely from the BERG Group, and units from other manufacturers can be integrated just as easily, including equipment already installed at your site. Sizing to Your Requirement
Purity, flow and the conditions at your site determine what the plant looks like. Typical figures are 90 to 95 % oxygen purity with buffer vessels from 90 to 500 litres. Larger volumes are built as container plants.
What goes into the sizing: the purity required, the flow in continuous operation and at peak, the pressure at the point of use and the operating profile, that is whether the plant runs around the clock or shift by shift. Then the starting point on site: the compressed air already available, the footprint, the ambient conditions and the question of whether headroom for a later extension should be planned in.
Typical applications: pharmaceutical processes and laboratories, oxygen input in aquaculture, biogas enrichment and wastewater treatment, process oxidation in the metal and glass industries, mining and gold leaching. Which size fits your demand is settled in the sizing.

OXYBERG® plants deliver oxygen at 90 % to 95 % purity, the standard range for industrial PSA oxygen generation. 93 % O2 configurations can be engineered for projects requiring Oxygen (93 per cent), European Pharmacopoeia monograph 2455. Final gas quality must be verified for the delivered system and operating conditions. The purity is monitored continuously at the generator outlet by integrated purity and pressure sensors.
No. You can order the compressor through the BERG Group, supply a unit from another manufacturer, or use the compressed air already produced at your site. Each of these variants is agreed with Berg GaseTech beforehand, because the volume, pressure and quality of the compressed air have to suit the plant. Depending on the starting point, a dryer or filters are added. In every case you receive a skid with air treatment, dryer, generator, buffer and regulation.
Yes. The PSA generator always comes from Berg GaseTech, and for every other component you are free. Existing or customer-supplied units are reviewed together beforehand and taken into the sizing. Sizing, assembly, commissioning and service of the entire plant stay with Berg GaseTech in every case.
Because piping, wiring and control logic are installed and factory-tested before delivery, on-site work is reduced to placement, utility connections and a guided start-up by Berg GaseTech. Site preparation typically runs in parallel with manufacturing, so total time from order to running plant is shorter than for a self-engineered system of comparable scope. The exact lead-time range depends on configuration size and shipping destination. Your application engineer confirms it as part of the quote.
